The story about the story is a fun and interesting one.
Last year I was writing for a children’s television show. During this time, I met a woman on my Linkedin business network. She was a stop-motion animator and producer in Buenos Aires. After a few exchanges, she told me about her Instagram site. @marina.garcia.navarro Well!!!!!! As soon as I looked at it, I fell in love with her art and its childlike, magical qualities. I immediately remembered a character I had thought about seven or eight years earlier. I wrote the first story about Georgiana the following day.
I continue to be inspired by and in awe of Marina’s amazing illustrations. They are filled with love and joy; magic and adventure.
